The “DAT” term deposit constitutes blocked and interest-bearing savings for a specific period. DAT is an investment for depositors, which the institution can use to transform it into credit. The amounts, the authorized durations as well as the corresponding credit interest rates must be consistent across all Agencies and are posted on the notice board for greater transparency.
